Please join us as we launch the Houston Local Chapter of RCV for Texas. This is a great way to meet others in the greater Houston area interested in getting ranked choice voting adopted in Texas to help ensure broad voter support for winning candidates and save time and money for election administrators, candidates and voters. You can help improve the voting experience by reducing negative campaigning and making voters feel their votes matter.
It is important to work locally to build relationships with legislators, other organizations, and the media to educate others on the benefits of RCV.

Join us between 3pm and 5pm CT to phone bank supporters who have signed up on our website so we can get more people active in our movement! Help them identify volunteer activities, follow us on social media, and/or donate to support our efforts to get Texas to adopt RCV so candidates who win have broader voter support, election administrators and candidates save money, negative campaigning is reduced, and voter experience is improved.
This is a great way to help from the comfort of your home while interacting with other volunteers making calls.

Join our bi-monthly meeting to learn more about ranked choice voting and how you can help implement this nonpartisan change in voting logistics that can make elections better, faster and cheaper. We host these bi-monthly meetings on Zoom to expand our network of supporters who can influence the Texas legislature to adopt ranked choice voting. We also hope to recruit volunteers to work on our effort. This meeting will focus on how to influence your legislators.

Join our effort to educate more Texans about RCV by volunteering to talk with people as they leave after they vote on Tuesday, March 1. You can do this at your local polling place or another location in your area which you think will be busier. Stay for as many hours as you'd like any time polls are open, generally between 7am and 7pm. You could start with Early Voting, but you are likely to see more voters on Primary Election Day. We will provide a clipboard sign, some flyers, and a general guide on what to do. Our last major effort like this was on Super Tuesday in March 2020 and volunteers around the state added significantly to our list of supporters. Please join us this time.
